With her debut album 'Quaintrelle' out in early 2010, West Country Musicianm, Lenny Savage comes of age in a blaze of musical glory.
Promising an album infused with a “newfound force of womanhood and love of intellect”, Lenny is currently engaged in training up her freshly-recruited band members in preparation for their roles of being “rather dandy”.
She’s also getting overly excited to see what the public make of her revamped sound and strikingly visual ‘Quaintrelle’ persona.
While influenced by many genres from across the world, Lenny retains a sense of playful musical quirkiness that’s somehow both very British and disarmingly all her own.
Elements of folk, swing, rock, grunge, synth-pop, dub, Latin and African music swirl in the mix along with Lenny’s original love for all things acoustical.
But 'Quaintrelle' isn't an acoustic album, oh no. It's exactly how she wants it – wildly expressive, blindingly sincere, scintillatingly sensual and, ultimately, never less than confusingly fascinating.

blues/folk and hints of upbeat pop feel can be heard on the album. Track four "Satellite" this is a real Memphis gospel runner with upbeat drums and a cheeky piano in the background, maybe something Jools Holland would like to play on, catchy with a savy swing this is a cracking track on the album.Track six "Green" upbeat jazz number with some brass work and snappy catchy vocal from Lenny,superb. There is a beautiful soft number on the album called "Everybodys looking for something" soft and melodic with some super vocals from Lenny,this would be the backbone track on the album for me, with pure passion felt in every note,classy stuff.
Along with most of today's female artists I think Lenny would stand up right there next to them as Quaintrelle is certainly destiny for success.
