Lefteris Karvelas

Born in New York and grew up in Athens Greece.



He studied at Berklee College of Music from where he graduated as an honor student (Magna Cum Laude) with a scholarship and received a degree in Guitar Performance.



While attending B.C.M he formed his own band called The L.C Band playing his original jazz-fusion compositions in different clubs of Boston such as the House of Blues.



He returns to Greece in 2003 and performs with artists such as Anna Vissi, Christos Dantis, Giorgos Demetriadis and Elizabeth Karatzoli.



In Anna Vissi’s album called “Paraxenes Eikones” he arranged and produced a big part of the CD. The CD also included two original tunes of his (music & lyrics – “Belos” & “Pos ta fernei etsi i zoi”).



He released his first CD-single titled “Tipota Den Einai Opos Palia” with SONY-BMG in 2005, which included three tunes he composed , arranged and produced.



In the summer of 2005 he participated in the Coca Cola Sound Wave festival.

In January 2007 he won the MAD artist of the month contest.



His full length CD titled “Oso o Ilios Tha Zei” circulated in May 2007 from Impact Music including eleven songs which he composed.
