Lee the Butcher and the Ghoul Gang Slaughter are a sonic 360 from The Rattlesnake and Elephant Insect Armada - now the name of Lee the Butcher’s debut EP (available on Subsumption Records). With five songs barely clocking in at fifteen minutes, The Rattlesnake and Elephant Insect Armada EP is a focused and concise meditation in progressive thrash metal. The hyper-visual lyrics evoke a dystopian universe in which an army of the dead walk the earth and rats navigate the sewers on sailable human corpses. Upon listening to the EP, one thing becomes abundantly clear: Chad Moore, Taylor Trash, Mike Swiggart, Kenny G and Carl Nordman, these five men are Lee the Butcher. But it is the listener that is The Slaughter.-god
