Lee Mitchell

Lee Mitchell is an English folk/pop songwriter/singer that has written over 130 songs and more over a span of nearly 40 years. Composing in styles from folk, pop, blues, right through to jazz, ragtime, neoclassical, instrumental and improvisation. Encouraged at 16 by the legendary rock guitarist Marc Knopfler, and inspired by the great Sir George Martin ( Of the Beatles fame )with gracious acknowledgement for his song "Sri-Lanka Serenade" the folk-bloke is still rolling - Including the production of a 6 book series " Classical Masters For Acoustic Guitar " published courtesy of Spartan Press music publishing. The subject matter for Mitchell's songs are as diverse as the musical styles themselves.
