Leeann Akers

Some say that the journey to the top is filled with twists and turns, singer/songwriter Leeann Akers is certainly a testament to that process. Her pursuit for a career in music led her to find an unlikely mentor in Reggae artist Snow, collaborations with artists like Lady Gaga and getting signed to a major record label.



At only 24 years old, Leeann has accomplished what most will never do in a lifetime.



Choosing to follow in her families musical footsteps, touring with music legends Merle Haggard and Charlie Daniels,By the time she was 15, Leeann had already opened for Jamie O'Neil, B.J Thomas,Aaron Carter,performed at the Louise Mandrell Theater, Mountain Arts Center and was winning talent and songwriting competitions across the country.



With an ability to write pop,r&b, traditional & country pop, Akers is a jack of all trades.Being an artist herself, Leeanns' own songs are the perfect blend of pop infused country.Her toe taping catchy songs helped to ink her a deal with Motown Records in 2007, and representation by music attorney Theodore Settlmyer and co-founder of Virgin Records and former president of Warner Phil Quartararo and collaborations with artists and producers like Lady Gaga,Red Zone,(Rihanna,Britney Spears)Jim Jonsin(Lil Wayne,T.I) and RedOne to name a few.
Recently making the move from Michigan to California, Leeann is ready to make her mark in music.
