Just when the world thought hip-hop was dead we embarked on something so riveting that the name just spoke for itself. The name is Pheave. hailing from the Southside of Chicago is already making heads nod, speakers knock, and hips shake. Pheave or Feva as he is also called, born Carlos Thurman, has been able to captivate an audience and gain a lot of popularity with his talents since he showed up on the scene in 2005 with his smash single “Motorcycle“. Family, friends, and strangers are amazed by his display of showmanship, loyalty, handsomeness, and winning personality. Life as one of the hottest rappers in the windy city of Chicago, IL., comes with its perks. Nobody bats an eye when you drive your Charger on the sidewalk so you wont be late getting to the club and they don’t notice when you illegally double park your vehicle behind two cars once you arrive. See, you can do things like that when your coast to coast anthem, “Rep Yo City” is blazing local radio.

But for Pheave, the ultimate goal isn’t hometown VIP treatment its widespread acceptance. Though music is the focus and passion now it wasn’t always so heavy on the rappers mind. Basketball was a passion as well but the young rapper found his calling at the age of 12 thanks to friend Tuo. Soon after music fell in place and Feva(known as Pheave now) was conceived and born. A fan base began to grow rapidly as the ladies took a like into the baby face along with the swag and catchy hooks and the fellas was feeling the realness. Pheave set out to prove himself by doing shows and hitting the mixtape circuit. Soon his hometown radio stations started spinning his indie tracks Yessir and Motorcycle. Then he had a chance encounter with Blackground Records. Impressed with Pheave’s material, Pheave had inked a deal with Blackground/Universal and was soon recording with the likes of Kosine, Timberland, and many Chicago artists, as well as being on the remix to “Baby Its You” by label mate JoJo. Though the album was due out first quarter of 2007 Pheave decided to perfect his craft and re-record so be on the lookout for more new music, new videos, a new website, and oh yeah-new HATERS!
