The Guardian recently described LNF as ".engaging and intense." however, www.rootsaroundtheworld.com really hit the mark, declaring;

They make you laugh,

They make friends with you,

They make you feel at home,

THEN they pin you to the wall

with blistering, soulful music.

LNF play acoustic music well rooted in the Celtic tradition. The Living Tradition Magazine stated "we are extremely fortunate that these three found one and other in order to make such great music brighten up our lives."

Their Album ’Tempered’ awarded them;

’An album of wintry elegance’ The Observer

’Album of the month’ and **** MOJO

A live album, released in September 2006, ’Live from the mac’ was recorded on the 3rd of Febuary 2006 at Birminghams arts centre ’mac’. Currently available to buy on the website www.lastnightsfun.com or from any concert.

In January 2007 Last Night’s Fun were joined by Ciaran Boyle, champion bodhran player and singer. Further changes occurred in Winter 2007/2008 when Denny Bartley having served sixteen years (man and boy) for the good ship Last Night’s Fun handed in his notice. Denny’s replacement, Findlay Napier, met the lads at Ely festival and was an immediate fan of the bands music and sense of humour. The timiing could not have been better for both parties as Findlay’s band, Back of the Moon, had just split up! Find out more about Fin at www.lastnightsfun.com or www.myspace.com/findlaynapier.
