Lantana is a rocking country group based in Dallas Texas. Their performances all over the U.S. have earned them accolades such as "the Top 10 Concerts of '06" as well as "Top 10 CDs of '06" by the Dallas Morning News. Performing in venues including the Cowboy Stadium, Houston Astrodome, Louisiana Superdome, State Fair of Texas and Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon has led to a dynamic show including the soaring harmonies they are known for. Their first two singles landed them in the

top 10 on the Texas Music Chart twice, a feat only superseded by one female trio prior to them: the Dixie Chicks. With an unbridled passion for country music it is their sole purpose to bring to the world stage a quality of music that is both traditional in its roots but progressive in its sound.

Shock full of content that is relevant to fans that are well past their teens,
the group delivers high energy signed with a sense of humor, of course. "One thing for certain is that Lantana is truly a force of its own;" says Biz Haddock, founder of the group, "twist after turn things have unfolded organically to where we are today and the irony of it all is now we really see that all of these things have happened for a reason."

Biz Haddock and Lisa Underwood, original members, began singing together in 2002 at their local church. That synergy soon developed into much more. "Sweet Lantana" emerged, with a few third members over the years, and was performing the National Anthem all around Texas.

A native of Dallas, Biz Haddock formed Lantana as an outlet for her artistic aspirations. To conquer her fear of being on stage she knew she needed to sing. Her unique voice intrigued producers and kept leading her back to studios across Texas and Nashville. After two albums and hundreds of shows, this witty, playfully outspoken, mother of two will tell you the music never leaves her, finding its way into the depths of her soul, sometimes late at night, sometimes over a cup of coffee, but never more than a thought away. "I rely heavily on my faith and my husband's solid support. This business is peppered with all kinds of insanity and without a life line it's easy to sink. Our music is inspiring and thought provoking and that is what I want Lantana to reflect."

Dalene Richelle stepped into the group in '06. Dalene, a native Canadian, is kindredly deemed "Lantanas Texanadian". Dalene left a career as an Art and Music teacher to pursue her musical aspirations. "I loved teaching but there was something that kept calling me to performand it called me all the way down to Texas!" With a 'Texas' name Day-leen, she fit right in in many ways. She started playing the piano at age 4, encouraged by her parents to take after her Grandfather who led an orchestra, she studied classically through the Royal Conservatory of Toronto and the University of Alberta. She now plays upright bass and her own unique "pink" mandobird. We have had such incredible experiences sharing our music with people and thats really our goal. I am so grateful! As a yogi and vegetarian, she definitely adds a paradoxical element to the Texas group. There is nothing like experiencing another culture for you to really discover who you are, she beams.
Lantana is gearing up for another album, recently releasing its first single, "A Few Little Things" produced by Beau Bedford, a local prodigy. We love what we do so well just keep singing and see where it leads us they agree." We just want to share our music and hopefully touch people's hearts." Original member, Lisa Underwood will also write with the girls for this project.

"The ladies of Lantana are as gorgeous as the flower they've taken their name from; A flower that also happens to be known for its hardiness and resilience. Their sound is fun and vibrant, says Heidi Wilson KRYS FM in Corpus Christi TX.

Have you ever tried to get rid of Lantana in your flower beds? It just keeps coming back laughs Texas radio promoting legend Debbie Green, but you do know I do love these girls. and so does Texas.
