Welcome to my music page.A little bit about me.I have been singing for over 20 years now and was introduced to audiences over 500 at age 8yrs. At 12yrs. I was lead singer of a band named Quicksilver, we toured around some and opened for stars such as Pam Tillis, Mark Chestnut, Shenandoah, and more. At 16yrs. I sang and danced in several shows at "Six Flags Over Texas", I performed in "Santa Country" and "Hot Rockin' Country" with artist Keith Anderson, Amber Dotson, and Bryan Simpson. At age 19yrs. I sang for radio station "Young Country 105.3" in front of 15,000 to 70,000 people opening for Bryan White, The Kinleys, Ty Herndon, and Joe Diffee. Also in years after opened for Jo Dee Messina, Reba McEntire and more. At age 23 I actively started pursuing a record contract in Nashville, at that time God started speaking to my heart about singing Christian music (I wasn't interested in that at the time). I tried to avoid hearing God's whispers but finally got knocked down by His roaring message to me. I began to turn my career around toward His direction ( fyi; "I began to turn my career around toward His direction, which I had never before done even though I have been a Christian all of my life").

As I was being called God began to open doors for me, I was hired on staff at Cross Timbers Community Church in Argyle where I served as the associate worship leader for 4 years. Then I was offered a full-time position at a church in Euless called Metroplex Chapel, where I have been the Worship Pastor for almost 4 yrs. now. Summer of '06 I began wrestling with the Lord about where he had me. I had always been a part of country music and now was a part of a contemporary music style of Christian songs so I started asking God why he had me there. Somehow my roots keep showing through, so I prayed that God would give direction with the yearning in my heart to do the kind of music I had always loved to sing. He began to show me that I was there for a reason and He wanted me to be myself not try to become like everyone else but be Lani. As I continued to pray about it God laid the idea of a country/christian cd on my heart, so I began to pursue writing songs and finding songs from friends. Everything started to fall into place, I had 10 great songs, a great friend who would help me produce it and the money to do it all, what a blessing. So that's how these songs came to pass. Now, with a family and full-time job, I feel pressed more than ever to do more outside the 4 walls of my life for Christ. So I ask that you would pray with me that the doors would begin to open and God would guide my path to the people that need to hear His message. Thanks so much for your time and prayers, I hope you feel that you know me better and have more appreciation for my heart and music. None of this is because of my power but through Christ and I pray that we all stay centered on His will for our lives and spend every moment of every day worshipping Him and giving Him the glory He deserves!! Thank you Jesus.
