LA LANGOUSTINE EST MORTE



La Langoustine est Morte was established in July 2006 by poets Anthony Joseph & Sascha Akhtar as a series of evenings celebrating experimentation and innovation in poetics and fiction. The inaugural event was held at the Poetry Cafe in London on July 31 2006 and featured readings by Jamika Ajalon, Sascha Akhtar, Carolina Diaz, Anthony Joseph & Ronnie McGrath.

One aspect of the first evening was engaging the well-wishers who had come out in a game of Exquisite Corpse. (We have scanned these pieces, please enjoy. Included in My Pictures is one that Sascha Akhtar and Nofil Naqvi did just before the event, in anticipation.please feel free to use the My comments to start one yourself) Perhaps in the fourth we shall do this again
