Authors has gained mass momentum and recognition after emerging into the music scene as a reputable, raw talent musical entity that is ready to share their passion with the masses. Rather than exploit the art of music, Authors are strong believers in the idea of sharing their music with anyone who will listen. Within the first year of their existence, Authors has already gained national attention and recognition in a multi-market demographic. In August of 2009 Authors competed in the National Fine Arts competition, held in Orlando Florida, with over 15,000 participants Authors took first place. Immediately after this brief success, Authors found favor among nationwide managers and management firms. The group, as a whole, understands the concept of selling a product and their product is selling. The group has been offered tours with artist such as Poema (tooth and nail records), Bradley Hathaway, and John Rueben, although this is a great start, Authors will soon embark on a tour that will be a career making opportunity. Understanding that its business first, music second has propelled the band to grasp the importance of being successful. Their definition of success is not measure monetarily but rather by their stability. Their primary focus is to ensure the security of all parties; sponsors, promoters, fellow musicians and club owners. Ultimately Authors is eagerly seeking new opportunities, both professionally and independently, their hopes are to move their listeners and make an impression in an oversaturated market.
