Lacerda

Having been born out of an obsession for pop culture, it is no surprise that Lacerda takes their personal band philosophy from the tired Nike cliche: "Just Do It". In preparation for the 2010 Vans Warped Tour, this ambitious quintet did things the only way they knew how, by putting all their eggs in one basket. Polishing up a 7 track EP, with acclaimed songwriter and artist Jason Lancaster (ex-Mayday Parade, Go Radio) Lacerda headed to Nada Studios in May of 2010. It was there that Producer John Naclerio helped them bring their raw pop vision into a reality. Their sophomore EP delivers exactly what the title promises, 7 relentlessly singable pop songs, so big in sound and scope that they can only be described as Epic Pop.
Taking from an enormous laundry list of influences (including anything from Taking Back Sunday, to Michael Jackson, to Underoath) Lacerda write pop music with the heart and emotion of a DIY hardcore band. Having embarked on several smaller tours of the East Coast, the Midwest and the South with bands such as Honor Bright (Triple Crown Records), The Doppler Effect, and Lights Out Dancing, they are no strangers to the harsh realities of life on the road.
