BIO [versione italiana]



Il progetto LACERATER nasce nel 2002 sotto il nome di Lacerated, modificato poi nel 2004 nel moniker attuale. Sotto questo primo nome i LACERATER incidono due demo:”Revenge of Darkness” e “Demo 2004”.

Grazie a questi due primi lavori, cominciano a suonare nella zona, creandosi un piccolo seguito di fan.

In quegli anni la band dividerà il palco con Labrat (England), Umigliazione, Grimness, Dreams of Agony, Mourn in Silence, 2minutaDreka, Icon of Hyemes, Kreas, Bowel Stew, Conviction, Banged Up ecc…

Nel 2007 i LACERATER registrano presso i rinomati Fear Studio (Alfonsine, Ravenna) l’EP “NESSUN’URLO NELL’OMBRA”.

Le 4 tracce dell’Ep si caratterizzano rispetto ai lavori precedenti per una più marcata influenza grind e hard-core, e per l’originale scelta di lingua e tematica delle lyrics: i testi, in italiano, affrontano temi legati ad alcune conturbanti e brutali vicende della nazione, dallo stragismo alla mafia, passando per la cronaca nera…

A livello grafico, poi, l’Ep si configura come una vera e propria mosca bianca –o rosa?!- del genere.

Grazie al prezioso aiuto di Luca Antoniazzi e alle splendide e orripilanti immagini di Alex Mercatali, l’album si tinge di rosa e dei disgustosi vermi giganti dai colori delicati fanno la loro comparsa sulla cover.



“NESSUN URLO NELL’OMBRA” viene distribuito in tutta Italia, Europa, America e in altri paesi del mondo, grazie a distribuzioni indipendenti. I riscontri positivi non tardano ad arrivare e le recensioni (Italia, Francia, Spagna, Germania, Grecia, Polonia, Repubblica Ceca, Usa, India[!!], Filippine, Ecuador, Messico, ecc…) raggiungono, nel giro di un solo anno, quota 100.



Numerosi sono i passaggi radiofonici, anche all’estero:

Metal Impact, Brutalism Radio, Escudo del Metal radio, Death FM radio, Radio Città Fujiko, Soul Blaster radio, ecc.

I pezzi contenuti in “NESSUN URLO NELL’OMBRA” vengono inoltre inclusi in alcune importanti compilation:

Sin dall’autunno del 2007 i LACERATER affiancano all’attività più strettamente musicale, quella di organizzatori di live events, come IMMACOLATA CONCEZIONE (festival death/black con UnholyStorm, Sickening, Homselvareg, Subhuman, Noctifer, Zora, e ospiti internazionali come Otargos e Satan's Revenge On Mankind), NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEATH (che porta per la prima volta i Natron a Bologna) ecc…

Nella primavera del 2008 i LACERATER organizzano la prima edizione dell’EATEN ALIVE, un minifest itinerante dalla bill internazionale -Fleshless, Holocausto Canibal- che riscuote un ottimo successo.

Nell’autunno dello stesso anno intraprendono un tour europeo -SPAGHETTI TOUR- che, portandoli in Germania (Mucheln, Leonberg, Erfurt) e Francia (Brest, Rennes, Nantes), permette loro di farsi apprezzare da un più vasto pubblico.

Nel corso dell’ultimo anno i LACERATER hanno avuto l’onore e il piacere di condividere il palco con numerose band del calibro di: Fleshless (Czech Rep.), Holocausto Canibal (Portugal), Satan Revenge of Mankind (Germany), Otargos (France), Yarblocks (France), Necroid (Germany), Natron (Italia), Soul Demise (Germany), Isacaarum (Czech Rep.), Nightshade (France), Gomorrah (Germany), Bestial Devastation (Italia), Egomass (Italia), Bleed Someone Dry (Italia), e una miriade di altre valide band dell’underground nostrano.

LACERATER project was born in 2002 with the name of Lacerated, modified in 2004 in the actual moniker.

Under this first name LACERATER record two demos: ”Revenge of Darkness” and “Demo 2004”.

Thanks for those first works, they start to play in their area, collecting some fans.

In those years the band plays with Labrat (England), Umigliazione, Grimness, Dreams of Agony, Mourn in Silence, 2minutaDreka, Icon of Hyemes, Kreas, Bowel Stew, Conviction, Banged Up etc…



In 2007 LACERATER record at the renowned Fear Studio (Alfonsine, Ravenna) “NESSUN’URLO NELL’OMBRA”.

The 4 songs of the Ep are characterized (unlike the previous stuff) for massive grind and hard-core influences, and for the original choice of lyrics’ language and themes: the lyrics are written in Italian and are about brutal and dreadful events happened in Italy, from stragismo to mafia, passing through crime pages…

Graphically the Ep is a real -¡pink!- rarity of the genre.

Thanx to Luca Antoniazzi’s precious help and to Alex Mercatali’s wonderful and horrifying images, the album dyes pink and some nasty and sweetly coloured gigantic worms appear on the cover.



“NESSUN URLO NELL’OMBRA” is distributed in Italy, Europe, America and other countries, thanks to independent distributions. The Ep is welcomed with more than 100 reviews (Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, Usa, India[!!],Philippines, Ecuador, Mexico, etc…).



“NESSUN’URLO NELL’OMBRA” songs are broadcasted by many radio stations, also abroad:

Metal Impact, Brutalism Radio, Escudo del Metal radio, Death FM radio, Radio Città Fujiko, Soul Blaster radio, etc.

In Spring 2008 LACERATER organize the first edition of EATEN ALIVE, a successfull itinerant minifest with an international bill -Fleshless, Holocausto Canibal-.

In Autumn 2008 they undertake a European tour -SPAGHETTI TOUR- (Germany -Mucheln, Leonberg, Erfurt- and France -Brest, Rennes, Nantes-) which allows them to be appreciated by a wider audience.

In the last year LACERATER have had the pleasure and the honour to share the stage with bands, such as: Fleshless (Czech Rep.), Holocausto Canibal (Portugal), Satan Revenge of Mankind (Germany), Otargos (France), Yarblocks (France), Necroid (Germany), Natron (Italy), Soul Demise (Germany), Isacaarum (Czech Rep.), Nightshade (France), Gomorrah (Germany), Bestial Devastation (Italy), Egomass (Italy), Bleed Someone Dry (Italy), and a myriad of other fine Italian bands.
