kusikia is a verb in Kiswahili that means "to hear" and "to feel"
for those unsure - koo-see-kee-ah - say it really fast three times over and you're good
we started in tacoma, wa in fall 2006 and moved to portland in winter 2009.
we just released our new album, brown town with MAKE records, which is now Talking Helps Records, and gnartapes. we might release an ep of improvisations from the TURTLE WARS recording sessions at some pontTURTLE WARS was our album in 2008, and our first self titled album was in 2007. both self released. we had a little ep of basement recordings before that but who knows if it still exists :)
