Kuribachew

Kuribachew Woldemariam father was a merchant and her mom was a fairly educated house wife. During her childhood Kuribachew was nicknamed "Kuri Kur Kur." Kuri attended many different schools like Woizero Keleme work, Bilichta, Ras Abebe, Berhan Ethiopia and British schools. At the age of 16, she was Hired as a Dancer in the "Hager Fikir Theatre.

Kuribavhew represented Ethiopian dance from Nationwide to international level along with some of the best Ethiopian Artists touring in Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. She Performed From small clubs to top venue shows like "People to People". Beside dancing, Kuribachew is one of the top Ethiopian choreographer. She's also a singer and an actress who appeared in many Ethiopian movies, she received great reviews for her character role in the movie Dagmawit which was a huge success in Ethiopia .

Kuribachew first song was "Yemirtachin Wutet Amare" in Hager Fikir Theatre. Kuribachew is well known for doing great covers for songs from artist from the past and current ones, she does those songs with her own unique style and choreographed dances. Among those artist that Kuribachew love to cover are the great Mary Armde's,The Shegenies',Martha Ashagari's who's a huge influence on Kuri, Alem Kebede's, GiGi’s and Bezawork Asfaws Hits. Ethiopian audience and fans gave Kuribachew the title of "The Queen of the Ethiopian Folklore", Kuribachew has the highest portion of gratitude and acknowledgement to her fans. Kuribachew is married and a mother of three, Muna,Yordanos and Eyerusalem.
