Kullrusk was founded in 2004 by saxophonists Per "Ruskträsk" Johansson and Jonas Kullhammar. The debut self titled cd came out in 2004, and the follow up "Spring spring spring spring spring" was released in february 2006.

In 2008 the LP Digital was released as a limited numbered edition of 525 copies.
