Krystle was born and raised in Bremerton, Washington: just an hour west of Seattle by ferry. She started playing piano in the third grade, and quickly starting performing for people and writing songs at 14. Even though she had zero vocal training at the time, she was chosen in 2004 and 2006 (ages 15 and 17) for the Washington State All-State Symphonic Choir. She was highly involved in dramatic and comedic theatre, but also musical theatre, performing on school and community stages. From the time she entered at Berklee College of Music right out of high school, she studied with Jan Shapiro, the voice department chair. Krystle has finished in Boston, Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in Professional Music and a concentration in Songwriting. Her teachers have all complimented her innocent but gutsy quality of her songs and voice. Krystle is currently living back in Bremerton, Washington and is in a duo with Andy Chinn, called "Yellow on Blue." She is also a leader at a local youth group. Next spring she will hopefully be in Graduate school to be a high school teacher. She is also fundraising a mission trip to Sierra Leone with Children of the Nations.
