K. ROSS

K RoSs the exceptional hip hop artist, who created most Dallas rappers now, comes as he is. Kay RoSs AKA "K RoSs", 22, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas in a neighborhood called Oak Cliff. Ross enrolled in the choir program of Robert L. Thornton Elementary School winning the award for outstanding singer. As a child, the aspiring hip hop artist listened to and idolized early Cash Money recording artists like Juvenile , Lil Wayne and the whole Cash Money Records, who he quotes as some of his early influences. He wrote his first rap song at age thirteen. At age sixteen, him and his cousins started rapping and distributing the music in schools. K RoSs recorded freestyle raps on tape recorders and soon computers onto CD's. He graduated from David W. Carter High School in Dallas, TX. In 2005, K RoSs lost two of his cousins in one day, he says that's what inspired him to become in the industry. RoSs performs at about two shows a week in the area of Dallas, TX and has sold over 4,000 cd's independently. He started his myspace November 2005 which in this November will be his 4th consecutive year. As the site grew his fame did to putting him up against the best inside the music industry. January 1st 2009 he wiped out his entire myspace to see how much fans he really does contain. RoSs is affiliated with a couple of organizations the Kidney Life, Dallas Life, and Church Director of Sweet Joy Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. RoSs was also in a number of newspaper articles such as Dallas Post Tribune, Quick Entertainment, and Dallas Observer. He is known as the text message king, with his continuous messaging from his cell about his music. So far he is delivering over one million text messages a year maybe even a month. For his 23rd birthday he performed 7 clubs in 7 days calling it the 7 Day Tour.
Right now he is the only artist known to put out 12 albums in 12 months. That's one whole year in the studio. Each CD has at least 21 songs or more that's at least 252 songs. Which he says they are all free no charge. He tells us the reason he is putting in so much work, "I come to seek and destroy one hit wonders with 21 hits on 12 CDs and really I do not like mixtapes its just not me." Despite no album release for two years from his first world wide album Hood Known 2007. K. RoSs appeared in numerous singles as a featured performer with tracks from overseas Zurich, Germany and United States producers. Instead of a follow-up solo album, he just reached his audience through a plethora of guest appearances on a variety of R&B, pop and hip-hop singles. He earned various accolades following his 12 month series. He is doing another 12 month set for 2010.
Now he is currently in the making of his first marketing album entitled "RoSs". He says this album will unleash and rejuvenate hip hop and expand the world to how Dallas music is more than what they look like. RoSs is what is in everybody, The sad, the mad, feel good, crazy, the party hardy, and ect. He created RoSs Unit His semi-Label/ Music Group with various artists such as Letrod Canady, Britney Nicole aKa G. Redd, Mike T., C. WeSt, War, Strugle 2 Survive Ent, Feddy Awwready, Mike Dubb, Six Figgaz, Ariem, Young Y.T. and B. Lew. Also in the making he is creating his own documentary called Block Known.
