Kronow kicks you in the face with a steel toe boot, then caresses you, says it sorry, and makes it all better again. This melodic heavy metal band hailing from Denver, Colorado pushes the limits of both brutality and melody. Their music stands out by complementing aggressive instrumentation with thoughtful melodies and dynamic musical progressions. Kronow incorporates elements from all genres of metal (thrash, death, classic, prog, nu, hardcore) without ever falling into the stereotype of any one style. They take the driving rhythmic elements of todays heaviest music and combine it with what most groups have forgotten - melody. Think Fear Factory meets Journey. Thrash riffs and hardcore rhythms combine with elegant chord changes and arrangements. Brutal metal growls and screams contrast with haunting melodic and harmonized singing. The key to their sound is hooks - hooks that invade your head immediately and refuse to leave. If you like metal of any kind, you will love Kronow.
Kronow ended in the Summer of 2006, with the members choosing to move on to form new projects. Kronow went out on a high note, playing their final show to a packed Ogden Theater. Kronow played for over 2 hours, playing material from all stages of the band and bringing back original members of the band to share the stage.
To this day, fans of the band wonder why the band came to an end and constantly ask the members to do a reunion show. Who knows what the future holds!!!!

Forever Altered
Forever Altered is Kronow's 3rd CD and by far their most ambitious effort yet. This CD represents the evolution and growth of Kronow's melodic metal sound. It includes the most brutal and intricate music the band has ever produced, creating a blend of anger, energy, and intellect. This is by far the heaviest Kronow music recorded to date. But, throughout the CD, there remain moments of their trademark melodies and harmonies that remind you that Kronow is more than a typical heavy metal band. After hearing this crushing CD, you will agree that Kronow is Forever Altered.
Visions of Damnation
This DVD really shines and gives the viewer a true taste of what Kronow is all about. It features full production music videos and live footage covering material from their first 2 CD's. The quality of the audio and video is excellent. Filming, direction, editing, and packaging of all materials was done by various professional video houses, making this DVD a true pro effort. 45 minutes of material give you insight into the band's vision of the music, a taste of what a live Kronow show is like, and even a view into what the guys are like when they are just goofing around.
