Put the Gorillaz, Outkast and the Beastie Boys together in a cheap motel room with a microphone, and you may come close to the sound of The Freshmen. I know what you might be thinking but I encourage you to first take a dive into the mind of The Freshmen before you categorize them as just another Alternative Hip Hop act.



The Freshmen are a symbol. The Freshmen represent the proverbial underdog. The new guy. Even though they have been paying dues for years, in the grand scheme of things they are still Freshmen. Instead of rejecting this position, they've embraced it and are confident they will be embraced because of it. Equipped with a heap of talent, a passion for making great music and the balls to do it, it's only a matter of time before the world opens it's ears to the sound of The Freshmen.
