Kristina Shashina was raised in North



London. Growing up she was inspired heavily by Musicals and Bollywood films which led to her creating her own



songs from a very young age as she did not understand the foreign language of the movies to sing along. This



eventually led to Kristina teaching herself to play the piano on a v-tech keyboard she brought from a car boot sale



held at her school. She practiced and practiced until her parents finally enrolled Kristina onto after school Piano



Lessons. Kristina believes in taking life in little steps to achieve her goals she says “I believe everything you



want, you can have. I always get what I want, not because I’m a spoilt brat but because I work hard.” As well as



singing, Kristina has interests in Dance, Cookery and Fashion whilst ascending the rocky mountain of music



production. “I’ve been writing and composing melodies so long, it’s about time I started producing my music too.”



Not one to stick to one style, Kristina has shown her versatility on many occasions. She’s experimented with live



bands to perform a mixture of jazz, rock, folk, country, soul and r’n’b before finding pop music. “I like to try a



bit of everything, my ears are always open to new influences.” Kristina is highly unpredictable in this respect and



sites herself as a zany individual, one who is calm yet outrageous who aims high and works hard in search of



perfection. “I strive to be seen as a person who succeeds in their ambitions and would like to reflect on my



achievements satisfied that I have no regrets.”.
