Kosa Nostra

Octavio "UnknoWn" Donatlan, Jose “Skinny- J” Ramirez, and Gerardo “Lalo” Ascencio, all met while rapping under the record label Krazy Threatz. After discovering that they all shared the same passion for music, the talented trio decided to form the group “Kosa Nostra”. The three men would create a sound unlike any other. Blending a mixture of the dirty south, the lyrically driven east coast, and their Latin heritage, it’s undeniably unique. Versatile would be the best way to describe Kosa Nostra. They make songs for the street, for the club, for those seeking knowledge, and quoting the group “for people to relate to our music on a personal level”. And with a team of talented in house producers already in place, they have the freedom to be as artistically creative as they want. All of the tracks are written and produced by the group, showing off their all around talents. The Aurora,Illinois natives have performed at many shows in and around the area, earning them local success and notoriety. It’s scary to think that all three of these gifted young men are only nineteen years old, whoa. SUCCESS: it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.
