The enchanting new KBS production based on the heroic character of Chun Hyang (who was brave enough to look for the lover of her own choice during the ancient Joseon period that held on to the strict ideals of Confucius) offers you a captivating tale full of romance, jealousy and arrogance as well as other common every-day issues. Han Chae Chong (Wild Card, Bet On My Disco) portrays the charming female protagonist Seong Chun Hyang, an industrious amiable high school girl who has to work part time to pay for her daily needs due to her poor family background. After being transferred from his old school, handsome Lee Myong Ryong ( Jae Hee from Kim Ki Duk's acclaimed 3-iron and winner of the Best New Actor Award at the 2004 Blue Dragon Presentation) becomes Chun Hyang's classmate and they soon turn into very close friends and later lovers. However, after Myong Ryong's old flame Hong Chae Rin (Park Si Eun - earlier starring in the KBS TV series School) finds out about their romance she leaves no stone unturned to force them apart…
