.
Bob, Scott & Todd Whitten, and Noel Holloway are working on Blind Alley Occupation (see www.myspace.com/blindalleyoccupation.com)
.
Kellie Parr, Bob Ackerman and Joe did perform as PeachFish "behind the magic fence" that is Captain Stan's Smokehouse. Cool Gig. iT appears that Kellie and Dave, Bill, Bill, and mystery drummer Reid are working on Peachfish now

Rock for the masses.
Marc wrote a great song "Radio" and we ( Marc, Bob) performed this song at the once Downtown Brunswick's hip cafe named Pranzo. Never really worked it up as a full band.
Recently, instrumental versions of Konichiwa material were broadcast statewide on Georgia Public Radio's (GPR's) show Georgia Gazette in an effort to become the new theme song for that show. The Konichiwa material was seriously considered and that in and of itself is pretty cool.
Also & again, Many thanks to The Oyster Shak and employees and all who were part of the 2009 Inauguration Celebration on Tuesday 01/20/09! And a special award should be given to Kodac Harrison for making the effort by driving down from Atlanta on a Tuesday. Kodac performed many times throughout the evening adding unique and original character to this event. Many pictures of this event are published here.
Konichiwa is currently working on trying to make an effort to mix and master and create product of a new disc. We may record several more tracks for consideration. They are working with Anthony Stubelek at rock studio. Anthony has Professional Awesomeness.
Indie-folk-heavy-alt-celtic-surf-pop-busker-rock is what we have here. Konichiwa has percussive, original, celtic, worldly, rock sounds that jam out with some Beatlesque overtones too. It sounds like David Bowie meets The Cheiftains meets the Allman Brothers meets Ben Harper meets REM Meets Oasis meets The Tragically Hip meets Radiohead meets NPR meets sweet tea (1/2 unsweet + 1/2 sweet) meets Cincinnati Chili meets Stoysich's House of Sausage meets Mrs. Harrison's Steak & Kidney pie or bangers & mash meets a crawfish low country boil on the beach meets a desert mountain top (Squaw Peak).oh, you get the Idea.
Konichiwa sits out in the sun, lives at the beach, swims in the ocean, surfs, works, plays. Get out your SPF.
Konichiwa performs at festivals, venues, clubs, studios, beer-fests, street fairs, St. Patrick's Day Festivals, Irish pubs, British pubs, Hip downtown venues, oyster bars, parties, street parties (Georgia Street Party), living rooms, and some great concert invites.
Since Harrison joined up as lead guitarist and vocalist, his addition brings much creative energy & material from his long time project Tone Deaf Radio. His contribution is more of a celtic-influenced-psychadelic-folk-brit-pop taking cues from mythology & beliefs in Native American spirituality & shamanism. Harrison's term for this : psychafolkadeliceuroraliancosmorock. (also see www.myspace.com/tonedeafradio)
Konichiwa can be heard at festivals, venues, clubs, beer fests, street fairs, St. Patrick's Day Festivals and has had some great concert invites including opening an outdoor evening show for The Indigo Girls (with friend & performer Kellie Parr ).
Many, many thanks to Kellie Parr!
