Klas is a five member band that's based in Malmo Sweden. With fantastic droll self-deprecating lyrics that loosely quote everyone from Bob Dylan to Paul Simon and a sound like Beck, The Silver Jews, John Cale, Lou Reed, and Lloyd Cole and the Commotions. The album features an electronica song ('Nightswimming'), The Daniel Johnston-esque inspirational song ('Clouds') and the world's most creative and heartfelt love song ('Duck Couples'). To Sleep and Love will have you taking the hand of the one you love and slow dancing with him/her for hours with this CD on repeat.

Klas comes across like a mix between Jesus & the Mary Chain and an early Beck (or a not-as-quirky Adam Green) on this self-released CDR. It's Swedish, lo-fi, melodic and utterly charming. .
