DESCRIPTION:
Tacoma locals Dred Serious were invited up to the Mighty KISW to co-host.

Back in the early 1990's, KISW was a very powerful voice of rock radio, NCI Communications, Bob Rivers-Twisted Radio, Cathy Faulkner,......(no, im not gonna start) and Rockfish!!

Long story short, I got Rob (Rockfish) my backstage pass at Metallica.(Black Album.) Probably one of the most exciting VIP passes I have ever had the luck to acquire. Entrance to this was a rock and roll dream! Loads of big names were at this 'who's-who' of rock concerts. He felt appreciative. He was happy to give me a business card, and an IOU to be used "when I needed to be hooked up"
.........(side note, that very night was the last time I ever got to speak to Kurt Cobain, miss ya bro!)

Rockfish was at a RKCNDY weeknight gig that Dred played a few months later. For they charted 2 private busses to transport the throngs of fans they had. Rockfish had a great tyme that night, and after the gig, in ther 'load-out' area he invited us to come up and be on the radio with him, Bullet Bob, and Metal Shoppe. We were stumbling to get a simple "YES" out.

That night was awesome, loads of fun, and another night of 'networking' for me and my agenda.

Rob "Rockfish" Oxford became friends with me and Donna Martinez (Vester) R.I.P. , a really great guy that helped several local musicians & bands I know. GREAT GUY!!

I never write this much about any individual clip, but this night was huge for my friends and me as well. THANX!
