King Ring Nancy spawned in 1998 in Edmonton, Alberta with the vision to create a modern heavy sound that still paid homage to the metal masters of the 70s, 80s and 90s. The stellar line-up of this four-piece hard rock band consists of Kevin Milloy (lead vocals/guitar), Peter Mead (lead guitar/backing vocals), John Turnbull (bass/backing vocals), and Wayne Peterson (drums/backing vocals). King Ring Nancy's sound is best described as Arena Metal, in the vein of Disturbed, Godsmack, Black Sabbath and Stone Sour.

KRN's organic chemistry is derived from a bond that extends far beyond music. For example, Kevin Milloy and Wayne Peterson – who have known each other for 15+ years – met while finding a creative (to say the least) way to continue the party. And in essence, that's what King Ring Nancy is all about: keeping the party going. Their loyal and ever-growing fan base will eagerly attest to that.

It is this kind of attitude, along with their infectious brand of music, that has allowed KRN to share the stage with top headline acts such as Ian Gillan (of Deep Purple), Helix, Nazareth,, Live, WASP, Sammy Hagar, Def Leppard, Bad Company, Lee Aaron, Prism, and Edwin & The Pressure.

KRN has been showcased on television by A-Channel, Biker TV and City TV, all renowned stations that have far-reaching audiences. Local Edmonton radio station 100.3 FM The Bear has featured them on their Red, White and New program, and included KRN on the Black Album compilation released in 2000.

King Ring Nancy's song Aftershock was featured in the independent movie, Halo, and in the promotional extreme sports video, World Flights, which saw North American release and distribution. The song off their upcoming EP, For Eve, is featured on the compilation CD, Downtown Metal, distributed internationally by Quickstar Productions and available worldwide on most major retail MP3 sites.

KRN's latest video, Reborn, was directed and produced by Mike Maxxis (P.O.D., Bedouwin Soundclash, Cradle of Filth) and can be seen on www.myspace.com/kingringnancy, www.youtube.com and www.soundclick.com/kingringnancy.

Currently, KRN is finishing up a five song EP at Titan Sound Recording, run by Dave Petovar (keyboardist for White Wolf). Cam MacLeod (lead guitarist, vocalist and founder of White Wolf who has worked with Danny Lowe – engineer and producer of the Guess Who, Shell Schellekens – producer for Golden Earring , and Khalil Turk – engineer and producer of Alibi and Neverland) is at the helm for engineering, mixing and co-producing (with bassist John Turnbull) duties. The songs are smoking and the release is set for Spring of 2009. Demo versions of these songs and others are posted for free on www.myspace.com/kingringnancy and www.soundclick.com and the band highly encourages their fans to download them and distribute them freely.

King Ring Nancy's daredevil diversity and balls-to-the-wall approach brings together one common goal: to have their music affect a large-scale audience and resonate eternal. King Ring Nancy is more than music; it's an addiction.
