".music that discards the much over-used indie swagger for a more wild-eyed,

hyperactive skank. "

Adventurous and audacious, King Hermit don't mind trying everything at least

once, and the more outlandish the better. “ We've played gigs in an open air

Cathedral, a zavvi in-store on a Saturday afternoon, a gig at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena, Inside an Odeon cinema in Putney, we even got one of our tracks played at half time at Anfield during a premiership game” says Bassist Dale Driver “Next stop, on top of the Empire States building”.

"King Hermit are something to behold, they are amazingly energetic live for a

three piece."

After recently releasing their debut EP entitled 'Home Sweet Homeless' recorded at the world famous 'Motor Museum Studios' in Liverpool (producing previous results from bands such as Oasis, The Coral and the Zutons) King Hermit are ready to attack the mainstream with their infectious Throat Scratching vocals mixed with down and dirty guitar riffs that pound every song.

"A typical bunch of Cov style cheeky Chappies making very catchy sing along

indie. "

King Hermit do things a little different from the standard, venturing to New York to play live shows as well as two different radio sessions is something most bands wouldn't dare to attempt at this stage but they did it with confidence and style. King Hermit's songs are also widely appriecated and used by others including two tracks on the soundtrack for Heart Of England award winning film 'Wasters' and the official walk on music for professional darts player Andy "The Pieman" Smith.

Another unique asset is their free iPhone game, a guitar hero like system set to their fan favourite 'Home Cooked Cookin' and it was certainly popular with over 1000 downloads in 40+ countries in it's first week.

"Laden with witty lyrics and some pretty solid indie rock riffs that remind me of a cross between Arctic Monkeys and a more rock n roll Be Your Own Pet."

King Hermit plan on going nowhere but the top. “we're aiming high and we want everything, and we're not leaving a stone unturned until we get there” says King Hermit's singer Jim Peakman. King Hermit continue to push the boundaries of things people told them might be unachievable and have hit a home run in every attempt, they don't plan on stopping until they achieve everything that they possibly can, and then try for a little more.
