King Earthquake started playing in blues dances in Birmingham in the late 70's and slowly progressed into dance halls playing against all the other YOUTHMAN sounds, at that time we were only a relatively small sound and didnt get the chance to play in the big league with all the other giants, but i'm happy to say we were never defeated as a youthman sound Music & styles changed and i was forced out of the scene in 1985, and after a long meaningless break i reintroduced King Earthquake to the uk in the year 2000, and i'm now happy to say i'm able to play amongst all the big giants out now.
