Kim Bingham began her rock'n'roll odyssey as co-founder, frontwoman and songwriter of Montreal ska phenomenon ME MOM & MORGENTALER. This eight-piece band gained a reputation as an unbeatable live act with frequent tours across North America, selling over 35,000 copies of their independent releases, subsequently becoming a legendary live band in their hometown.
Kim left Me Mom & Morgentaler and established herself as a dynamic rock'n'roll performer in Canada under the pseudonym MUDGIRL. She co-produced her solo debut FIRST BOOK with Steven Drake (Tragically Hip, 54-40, The Odds); propelled by the hit single "This Day", the EP brought Mudgirl international attention, including a Canadian arena tour and Sarah McLachlan's Lilith Fair tour in the US.
In 2001, Kim reinvented herself once again as THE KIM BAND and released a collection of self-penned songs called GIRLOLOGY, including the radio hit "What A Drag". The bilingual artist released French versions of three singles in Quebec. resulting in 3 radio hits, including "Quel Dommage"(1 at COOL FM).
Kim released her first French album INTERMEDE in 2007 (Musik 2 Musik), featuring the single "Le Desert". That same year, Kim won the Gemeaux award (Canada's Emmy) for Best Theme Song ("The Heroes Take") and was nominated for Best Original Score for her work on hit TV series "LES INVINCIBLES". She recorded and co-produced the show's soundtrack album (on Warner Music Canada, 2007). Both the soundtrack and INTERMEDE were co-produced with Matthias Schneeberger (Joseph Arthur, Northern Lights, Burning Brides).
In 2008, Kim recorded and performed live with Bran Van 3000 and released the radio single "Ticket Pour L'Amour" under the name KIM BINGHAM & KAMIKAZE PILOT. This French version of an unreleased English track was written in collaboration with friends Luc Brien and Johnny Maldoror of Les Breastfeeders.
Kim has penned songs recorded by Canadian acts JackSoul and Serial Joe and by Belgian bands Spark and Eden (whose cover of Kim's unreleased tune "Party Girl" went Top Ten in Belgium).
Kim has moonlighted as a guitarist and vocalist, performing and recording internationally with Nelly Furtado, David Usher, and Bran Van 3000.
Most recently, Kim completed writing the music for the three seasons of the hit French-Canadian TV series "Les Invincibles" (on Radio-Canada).

Kim a aussi travaill� en tant que guitariste et chanteuse voyageant et enregistrant dans le monde entier avec Nelly Furtado, David Usher, et Bran Van 3000.
R�cemment, Kim a complet� la musique originale pour les trois saisons de la tr�s populaire t�l�s�rie qu�becoise "Les Invincibles" (sur Radio-Canada).
