Reviewer: ROCKSOUND nr 106 MARCH 2007 (Arturo Lopez) A due anni dalla sua nascita il progetto KILT arriva alla piena concretizzazione con "Tra Serpi e Favole". Supportato da un mirato e imponente lavoro da parte di LadyMusicRecords, questo disco si presenta come una tra le produzioni più interessanti offerte dal panorama italiano. Ispirata dalle più importanti produzioni d'oltreoceando dei primi anni 90 e sulla scia di quanto affrontato dai connazionali Afterhours, la band propone nove tracce tra rock e crossover, dai toni caldi e coinvolgenti. Una buona struttura sonora, resa nel migliore dei modi dalle diverse sezioni, non sempre innovative ma sicure nell'incedere e piacevoli all'ascolto, e la capacità di andare oltre i numerosi clichè imposti dal nostro Paese ne fanno un'ottima alternativa a quanto l'industria discografica vuole imporre.
Reviewer:HARD SOUNDS (Daniele Amato) I Kilt riescono ad emozionare e anche ad energizzare, cosa non da poco; che si tratti della doppietta di apertura “Calma Lineare”/”Tra Serpi E Favole” o della conclusione breve ed indiavolata di “Nicola Dorme Poco La Sera”, i Kilt si dimostrano all’altezza durante tutta la durata del platter. Certo ci sono angoli da smussare e influenze troppo presenti da tamponare, ma l’intero package risulta accattivante e di alta qualità (anche per merito dell’ottimo artwork). Reviewer:METAL HAMMER MARZO 2007 (Rosario Leo). Nati poco più di due anni fa, i nostrani KILT (accasati presso LadyMusicRecords) debuttano con un lavoro che sa di puro rock italiano, contaminato per la maggior parte dal funk dei RHCP E dal groove dei RATM.
Rewiever: Andrea Matera; DAGEISHA.COM. fanno il loro sporco lavoro e gli intenti della band di produrre qualcosa di indie rock in controtendenza con la musica cantautoriale italiana sono sicuramente raggiunti. Reviewer: ROCKSOUND nr 106 MARCH 2007 After two years from its birth, Kilt’s project brings the fulfilment of its work “Tra serpi e favole”. Well-supported by a large and aim work on the part of Lady Music Records, this CD presents itself as one of the most interesting productions offered by the Italian market. Inspired by the most important American productions of the first 90’s and on the wake of what their countryman Afterhours had already undertook, the band presents nine tracks between rock and crossover, in warm and involving tones. A good audio structure made in the best way by the different sections, not always innovative but sound in their proceeding and pleasant in the listening, and the ability to go other than many cliché imposed by our Country, make of it a good alternative to anything else Record’s Industry wants to impose.
Reviewer: HARD SOUNDS (Daniele Amato) .Kilt are good to excite and to give power, which is not an easy thing to do; even if we are talking about the opening couple “Calma Lineare”/”Tra Serpi e Favole” or the short and wild conclusion “Nicola dorme poco la sera”, Kilt prove their high level during the entire last of the platter. Of course there are some corners to smooth and some too strong influences to rear end, but the entire package results catchy and in an high quality (also thanks to the artwork). DON’T PASS UP IT!Sometimes it’s really true that “Italian do it better!”

Reviewer:METAL HAMMER MARCH 2007 (Rosario Leo) .Born a little more than two years ago , Kilt (now with Lady Music Records) debuts with a work which sounds as pure Italian rock, in the most part of it tainted by the funk of Red Hot Chili Peppers and by the groove of Rage Against the Machine.

Penetrated with energy and carisma the title track and 'Geisha Party' are the two songs which are remained most impress on me. Advise to everyone

This is what I thought the first time I heard Tra serpi e favole, first official release of Kilt: a record in which vitality, aggressiveness and instrumental technique find a right union in an explosive and enthralling soundA valuable work, the one made by Kilt, which shows their skill both as musicians and as songwriter. Just an advice: if they’re gonna come to play near your place absolutely don’t miss them, on live stage they must be devastating!
