It's about a monkey, an otter, a jackal and a rabbit. Each decide to practice charity. A blind man comes along begging for food. So the monkey gathers fruit for him, the otter gathers fish. and the rabbit only able to gather grass, makes the ultimate sacrifice. He throws himself on the fire so the old man's hunger may be sated. And when the blind man sits down to eat, the jackal slits his throat and takes the bounty for himself.
