Khushal Music

Khushal Aqmal, born in Kabul and raised in Los Angeles, is a rare and unique talent to the music industry. Since early childhood, Khushal has been fascinated with musical composition and international instruments. At just 5 years old, he learned his first instrument, the Zerbaghali (Dumbak), and continued learning others including the dhol, harmonium, keyboard, and tabla. However, playing music was not his only talent!



With a voice beyond his years, Khushal began his singing career at the tender age of 8. He was discovered at a small family gathering, where he sang Ahmad Wali's "Chashmaan-e Abee, Chehera Gulabi" and immediately floored his audience. From then on, he has been on numerous television programs and concerts, and has gained a loyal and supportive audience.



Because of such a high demand in tabla support for programs, Khushal took a break from his singing career to help other singers by playing professional tabla for them during concerts and events, including his older brother, Fardeen Haqmal. He is currently training under the Musical Master, Ustaad Pravit Singh, from whom he is learning the roots of true classical music to enhance the vocal and instrumental quality of his work.



Now Khushal is coming out to his true and talented self, a singing sensation!
