(photo by mooxworx) San Marcos, Texas born and raised, Kewl Kris has been following his passion for music and honing his talents for more than 19 years. At the age of 11 he bought his first two turntables at a pawn shop and began his journey. His influences were top dj names such as Joe Cooley , Kenny Longoria, and Jam Master Jay. At the age of 12 he booked his first gig at a skating ring DJing on and off for the house DJ when he got a chance. Between the ages of 14 and 15 he booked gigs on the weekends on radio shows in Houston and at the hottest teen clubs. It was then in Austin TX that Martin The Hit Man, R.I.P taught Kris how to improve his mixing abilities. Kris started entering DJ competitions and even tried competing against DJs such as DJ Casanova, The Doc, and a good friend DJ Spinna T!



He took a break at 17 and became a dad putting his music aside. Now after almost 15 years he has reunited with new and old school DJs.



Kris hopes to continue his dream and create some of the most unforgettable mixes ever.
