Kerri Dopart

I was born in Newport, Rhode Island and lived there until graduating from Brown University in 2001. I lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for my 19th year where I learned to speak my grandparents' native tongue, Portuguese, and Spanish as well. I moved to San Diego in 2001, earned a teaching credential and a master's degree and began my teaching career teaching Spanish K-8 and guitar lessons. Until recently, I've been so focused on my career in education that I'd not been performing and recording. However, I'm pleased to announce the release of my first album "Unrequited Love Songs" March 2006.
