Deep down in party-land: A band with members from Germany, Italy, Scotland and Turkey who have chosen the name of a japanese manga comic are not afraid of breaking new ground. At a Kenshiro concert those standing around at the bar nodding their heads are probably in the minority.



It`s not a coincidence that this multinational band has gained an excellent reputation as a thrilling live act. They have achieved this through shear hard work.



The energetic mix of Drum’n’Bass, Breakbeat, Dub, Ragga, Pop and about 2782 other ingredients is not only party music, in the meantime this sound has become their trademark.



Kenshiro is totally at ease playing live on stage.



One not only notices this in the line-up which combines electronic music with an analogical feeling: It is stunning basslines, mind-blowing drumgrooves,sophisticated sparkling arrangements which occasionally drift off into a ambient sound.

Not to mention the soulful vocals split between a singer and a Mc which pay tribute to the Breakbeat scene of the nineties as well as to the better part of the the pop universe.



Kenshiro absorbs the current trends and turns them into their own style.



With a positive impact, by participating successfully at the popcamp in 2007, the release of their EP`Justin Time`in the same year, concerts at the famous Cologne festival C/O Pop or at the Juicy Beats festival in the Dortmunder Westfalenpark as well as dozens of other concerts they were able to specialise their musical profil and increase their popularity tremendessly.



Support gigs for London Elektricity, the outstanding British band of the Drum n`Bass Label Hospital Records, plus Radio broadcasts on 1Live and Radio Berlin show up in this band`s biography.



Their sound spectrum is an all-round mixture with loads of power.
