DESCRIPTION:
Having met only moments before going on stage together for a sound check at the Palace Theater in Hilo, Hawaii, spoken-word artist Bridget Gray and avant-garde guitarist Kelvyn Bell collaborated beautifully on one of Bridget's signature poems, "Shades of Gray". The two performers were part of the University of Hawaii at Hilo "Poetry and Blues Project" which took place in February of 2012.
