With a highly rhythmic playing style, Williams delivers some of the most danceable, high-energy acoustic music out there. During our wide-ranging interview, we talk about his new album, Vape, the development of his solo-guitar technique, and the influence of notable players from Jerry Garcia to Michael Hedges. Williams also offers performances of three songs: two from the new album and a cover of the Grateful Dead’s "Scarlet Begonias."
