From Baby Duck to Kaoz to the now KAYO. This little marvel of a rapper was full of energy and sparked the interest of many labels though the interest was short lived.

KAYO represents the commencement of adolescents. In an ever changing world where music is a powerful tool to communicate change, education and or empowerment, KAYO is the voice of the youth.

"Y'all speak for the adults, I speak for the youth".

To most 16 year old boys the idea of being on stage with Lil Flip, Alicia Keys, Marcus Houston, Monica, Da Brat, Choppa and Mike Jones or meeting Public Enemy, TI and Nelly is only a fantasy. To KAYO, it has already been a reality.

Not only has this 16 year-old entertainer shared the stage with these superstars, but is the hardest working kid in Show Business.

KAYO might only be a teen, but his immense sound and youthful energy combined, create a powerhouse rapper waiting to be unleashed on Americas youth. KAYO is the King of the Kids, Speaking the truth.

Kayo has graced the stages of several high schools, malls, in addition to many local Boys and Girls Clubs, YMCAs and other community recreation centers in Texas. KAYO won a trophy and cash prize at the $5K Hip Hop Hunt Show, and has performed at numerous talent shows beating almost every adult artist he has competed against. From Houston, to Ennis, to Waco, to Atlanta, to Miami. KAYO has performed on countless stages and moved many crowds.

As an avid sports fan, the NBA Hoop-It-Up Summer Tournament in Dallas and at the NFL Experience in Houston were some of KAYO’s favorite show though the one show that he appreciated the most was at the Old School Hip Hop in Houston, because he had a chance to perform on stage with pioneers such as Special Ed, Doug E Fresh, and Dana Dane, just to name a few.

"These rappers paved the way for kids like me", he says sincerely. The show that stands out the most was at the Skatium in Arlington, because he got a chance to open up for one of his favorite rappers Bow Wow. No disrespect to anyone, but I am not trying to be like Bow Wow, I am trying to be like me, he says. KAYO is continuing to develop his style on a journey to becoming a more rounded artist. Unlike other artists what separates KAYO from others in his category is his passion for dance.

Giving back to the community is extremely important to KAYO. His performance at countless benefits and charity events is an example of this; Scottish Rites Hospital, Six Flags Amusement Park in Arlington, Buckner Children’s Homes in Dallas in addition to The Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Jam and performing for the less fortunate and many more. KAYO stays busy performing at community events such as the Malcolm X Festival, the Kwanza Fest with Alicia Keys and Paul Wall, in addition to the Dallas & Okalahoma Juneteenth Celebrations which pull in thousands of people.

KAYO has created a buzz within the Music Industry performing at the 2006 Urban Network Entertainment and Marketing Summit in Palms Springs, the Jump Off in Atlanta, the Black Ebony Tie Tour, and at Greg Streets Car Show in Dallas, where he shared the stage with top-notch artists like Nelly, Jeezy, and Rick Ross, just to name a few. 2007 was no different as KAYO continued to lengthen his resume opening up for Omarion, Marques Houston & Yung Berg and being acknowledged by Pretty Rickey during their set whilst performing. As of late KAYO has continued to perform; the Hip Hop Aids Event, sharing the stage with David Banner, Day 26, Yung Berg & Pleasure and continuing to network and or perform with the likes of Plies, Lil Wayne, Nelly, Ludacris, 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Kanye West and more.

Just ask any entertainer that has crossed the path of Kayo 13 and they will tell you this kid is the truth.
