ONCE UPON A TIME(all rights reserved) is a song that I first heard instrumentally at Lukas Makowiak's concert. And it struck my heart, inspired me from the very first tune. The melody simply came into my mind as if it was already written, the text of the chorus scrolled down my soul's eyes. Romantic as it may seem, lol, but this really happened, I really felt that way. During the next couple of weeks I struggled with the verses and finally - there it was. And now, I'm proud to present my and Lukas's song.

K8 was born… some time ago in a medium-size town Walbrzych in Poland. She knew ever since that singing was to be her way of life. Owing to her openness and LOTS of luck, she had the tremendous opportunity to meet and cooperate with most talented people in various fields of music.
Although she hadn’t received any vocal education or training, K8 had the chance to develop and later improve her singing skills as a front girl of a funk’n’soul band Cocon’s Club. That was the time of big stage and club stage performances which gave her an immeasurable pleasure and inestimable deal of stage experience. Simultaneously, as a member of
AMU Academic Choir, directed and conducted by Jacek Sykulski, she learned about harmony, unity of sound, new vocal techniques and how to be one-of-the-many.
For the last 5 years K8 has been performing also as a backing vocalist, TV and radio commercial voice-over and singer, arranger, co-songwriter, text writer and text translator.
Meeting Daniel Moszczynski (Wolny, Wolnyband,) and AN21 (management) gave her the spur and motivation to set off up her own musical path, not only in singing but also songwriting.
At present, K8 is working on her new material consisting of a mixture of soul, funk, R’n’B and electro. Before it is ready, she wishes to present herself singing cover songs of the artists that definitely affected the way she understands and feels the music today…
