KASHMIR THE ULTIMATE LED ZEPPELIN SHOW!!!! NO WIGS, NO BS JUST A KILLER SALUTE TO THE GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER!!! FOR OVER 6 YEARS KASHMIR HAS BEEN PAYING TRIBUTE TO LED ZEPPELIN!!! FANS ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES AGREE THAT KASHMIR IS THE GREATEST TRIBUTE TO LED ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kashmir was started in 2002 by lead singer, Jean Violet. Jean decided

early on that if he was going to form a tribute band, he was going to go

all out. His goal was to recreate the music of Led Zeppelin, as well as have the audiences relive the visual experience. It wasn't easy finding the right people but, after playing steadily through personnel changes for more than two years, Jean feels he finally has the perfect combination of talented musicians. With Andy Urban on guitars, Cary Fields on bass, keyboards and mandolin, and Paul Cooper on drums, Kashmir has evolved into the "well-oiled machine" that Violet was hoping to create.

Kashmir successfully recreates the sound and energy of Led Zeppelin by

including all aspects of the original stage show, such as Jimmy Page's bow solo in Dazed and Confused and the hypnotic use of the Theramin during Whole Lotta Love. Urban completes the visual by wearing Page's signature dragon suit. Filling the musical shoes of John Paul Jones is Cary Fields. Cary brings out the bottom-end and smooth tone on Bass. Cary recreates the sonic textures and signature sounds on keyboards in songs like "No Quarter", "Stairway To Heaven","Since I've Been Loving You" and others, in true John Paul Jones style, playing the bass pedals with his feet. Cary also pays close attention to detail of the fluid melodic lines on Mandolin on classic songs like "Going To California", and "That's The Way." Paul Cooper hammers out drummer John Bonham's familiar rhythms including an authentic version of Moby Dick. Finally, Jean Violet’s dynamic vocal range, and uncanny resemblance to Robert Plant completes the experience. Singing hits such as Rock n Roll, Ramble On, and Going to California, Jean demonstrates his vocal versatility with the same strength and subtleties that set Robert Plant and Led Zeppelin as the standard for bands to come.

The two comments the band receives most often are, "I never got to see Led Zeppelin and now I feel like I have," and," I saw Led Zeppelin in the 70's and Kashmir helped me relive the experience". These comments are a testament to the band and the legacy of Led Zeppelin, which Kashmir is proud to recreate.

Kashmir tours extensively and has performed over 500 shows playing to crowds as large as 30,000 fans. Their professionalism and showmanship has made them the Nations 1 Led Zeppelin Tribute.
