Karizmata started as two guys just trying to write solid original material in the rock/hard rock genres. The goal has always been to write music that is interesting, accessible and even inspiring.



    



After recording their first demo, Karizmata began playing live shows mixing cover songs in with their own material to maximize their exposure. It didn't take long for the band to get a buzz going on the Cincinnati music scene. In fact, within the first year Karizmata was one of thirteen bands selected from the 300+ submissions for a coveted slot on the WEBN/Budweiser True Music CD.



    



In 2008, they completed and released a self-titled debut CD which was several years in the making due to lineup changes. From the immediate hook of "In Between" and the aggressive rhythm section of "Addiction", to the haunting melody of "Next In Line" and the almost country flavor of "Three Words", this collection of songs has a little something for everyone.



    



In 2009, Karizmata is busy bringing their brand of music to audiences across Ohio and beyond, with plans for more writing and recording in the works. Stay tuned and check the calendar often.
