RoJo, a DJ since age 15 made the transition to producer at the age of 18 after feeling limited creatively. Music production presented him with endless opportunities expand on and showcase his artistry. Enrolling at the Recording Workshop in Ohio in the summer of 2001, RoJo learned the fundamentals of music production and recording under the tutelage of MC Spel. Upon completion, he returned home to Philadelphia in the spring of 2002, to an internship at 100.3 The Beat, where he gained hands on experience in the production and development of radio commercial spots, station imaging, and promotions. Furthering his training RoJo enrolled in the Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences in Arizona, where he further honed his production skills and learned the art of the recording and engineering processes. Back in Philly ready to put his grind in motion, RoJo became a local celebrity known as the "kid with the laptop" traveling hood-to-hood to record up and coming hungry emcees. Crossing paths with and befriending local rapper L.P., RoJo made a cameo in "Episode 5: Philadelphia Battle" of the Showtime original series "Interscope presents The Next Episode". In the spring of 2004, in the midst of the mobile recording and club gigs DJing, he decided to focus his energy more on honing his production skills.

Unlike his peers, RoJo doesn't just make beats, he makes musical masterpieces complete with the progression and change-ups missing from most of today's music.in essence, fuck a loop. RoJo takes a classical approach to the orchestration and arrangement of his tracks. The incorporation of live instrumentation into his work allows him to cross-breed many different genres of music, in turn putting him and his sound in a class of its own.
