K&M Promotions

K&M Promotions are a brand new promotions company based in the heart of Glasgow. We aim to specialise in running gigs that mean you DO NOT PAY TO PLAY! We hate the pay to play scheme and we think that we should all join up to eliminate the remaining pay to play schemes in Glasgow and get rid of them for good!



Below is a list of the venues we work with and the deals available for playing these shows!



The Vale

Capacity: 100

Back line: Full back line provided.



Bands will be given 25 tickets priced at £4 each. We will ask for the money back for 10 of these tickets, with the money for any remaining tickets sold being given to the bands in full. There will be no difference to make up should a band fail to sell any of these 1st 10 tickets.



Capitol

Capacity: 220

Back line: 2 guitar amps required to be shared among bands.



Bands will be given 50 tickets priced at £5 each. We will ask for the money back for 10 of these tickets, with the money for any remaining tickets sold being split £3 to bands, £2 to us. There will be no difference to make up should a band fail to sell any of these 1st 10 tickets.



Ivory Blacks

Capacity: 300

Back line: Full back line provided.



Bands will be given 50 tickets priced at £5 each. We will ask for the money back for 15 of these tickets, with the money for any remaining tickets sold being split £3 to bands, £2 to us. There will be no difference to make up should a band fail to sell any of these 1st 15 tickets.



Bacchus

Capacity: 70

Back line: n/a due to acoustic nights



Acts will receive 15 tickets for the show priced at £3 each. We will ask for the money back for 5 of these tickets, with the rest of the money going straight to the acts involved. There will be no difference to make up should a band fail to sell any of these 1st 5 tickets.



Classic Grand

Capacity: 300

Back line: Full back line provided.



Bands will be given 50 tickets priced at £5 each. We will ask for the money back for 15 of these tickets, with the money for any remaining tickets sold being split £3 to bands, £2 to us. There will be no difference to make up should a band fail to sell any of these 1st 15 tickets.



Cabaret Voltaire

Capacity: 250

Back line: Full back line to be brought and shared by bands
