Producer J. Winans

Young, up and coming songwriter-recording artist, entertainer, Jeremy Winans also known as "J. Winans", the middle son of Grammy Award conqueror Daniel Winans was born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Nashville, TN & Detroit, MI. Attended a school owned by his uncle Marvin Winans, Marvin L. Winans Academy of Performing Arts in Detroit, MI for High School. Helping his father write songs for artist, producing tracks & writing in local studios became his job in high school while clocking in at McDonalds. Winans played the violin in orchestra class while playing on the basketball and leading them to 2 PSAL Championships. Following his dream of becoming a basketball star & recording artist, in 2008-2009 Winans attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV to try & walk on the basketball team. Winans' was chosen to become a prop player for the team that year, but didn't have the passion to play anymore because of the strong hold he had in music. The love of writing and creating music begin to takeover him as a freshmen in college. He had no choice but to move to California with his older brother to pursue the family business with his gift to entertain, unique sound & voice for music & for it to be a natural ability is meant to be in the industry. Likes to call his style in music "Experimental". Has worked with some of the top pioneer producers & artists in the music industry who are friends of the family, and he is now ready to share to the world the many talents God has given to him.
