On February 7th 1986, the Dominican Republic witnessed the birth of Jose A. Veras now commonly known as JV. The aspiring artist showed a passion for music at a very early age playing the drums at his church when he was only 6 years old. At 10 he was already improvising lyrics on the street with his friends. On 1999 JV traveled with his family to the United States and settled in New York and later moved to Reading, PA where he continued to pursue his dream of becoming an urban music artist. After recording solo for some time he teamed up with God brother Nueve creating the dynamic duo of JV and Nueve. With the help of music producer 2Much the pair was able to release hit singles like Chocala, Guagua Amarilla, and Ella Pide Mas. However, the desire to perform as solo artists was always on the back of the duo’s mind. Therefore, after considering their options they decided to go their separate ways. Now JV is working as a solo artist and also as a producer. The artist just released the new singles Get Down, Diva and A lo Callao and is soon to create a new song with the help of producers Platano and 2much and himself.
