"Several lineup changes over recent years show they've reinvented their technical blend of genres. I'd compare this to a more metallic version of Refused's The Shape of Punk to COme, which was a pivotal release in the innovation hardcore of the 90's. It gets a bit to emo-scremo for me vocally, but that's all I can complain about. It's a crisp and crunchy, technical and twisted, progressive but punishing amalgamation of aggression. This baby has solos, breakdowns, gang chants, steroid-jacked jazz riffs, disharmonized dueling leads, bellowing vocals and all kinds of angst and shit. totally for fans of BTBAM, Spitfire, Converge, Ion Dissonance - the stuff that teaches you to be all spiritual and politically correct and moral, but still kick in the nearest face - yeah, that
