! One of the most versatile and gifted musicians of her generation, Juliette has a hugely varied and successful career as singer, composer, arranger and record producer. She began her musical education at just six years old, studying the violin as a child at the Royal Academy of Music. She was awarded a choral scholarship to read music at Trinity College, Cambridge and went on to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from which she graduated with distinction and the highest mark of her year.

!

Three years ago, she came to the attention of record company executives at Sony BMG – and was immediately signed to record her debut album, Venezia, released in 2006 to critical acclaim. Classic FM made it their Record Of The Week and her voice even inspired renowned chocolatiers Hotel Chocolat to design and name the “Juliette” chocolate.

!

Her operatic and concert career has led her to perform with many orchestras all over the world, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, CBSO and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and she is just as at home on the opera stage as in a pop concert having shared a stage with fellow musicians as wide ranging as Sir Simon Rattle and Meatloaf! She can also be heard on the soundtracks to Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars- the Phantom Menace and is a regular national anthem singer at Wembley Stadium and the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff. She recently performed at the United Nations MDG Awards launch in Canada. In addition to her singing, Juliette composes and produces as one half of the partnership Morgan Pochin. TV credits include the EMMY/BAFTA award-winning Kumars at No.42 and According to Bex (BBC1). She wrote and produced Katherine Jenkins’ No.1 album Premiere, which was nominated for a Classical Brit and has worked with artists as diverse as Julian Lloyd Webber (with whom she duets on Venezia) and Elton John. She recently orchestrated and produced the new Classic FM release, Songs Without Words which entered the charts at no.21.

!

Juliette says her greatest achievement in life is becoming a Mum to her 6 year old daughter, Anna. She was nicknamed the Domestic Diva by the Daily Mail after they published her diary which detailed her hysterical attempts to juggle her career with her family – as well as making all of her concert dresses and growing her own vegetables - with varying degrees of success!

!

Juliette’s debut solo album is called Venezia and you can also hear her accompanied by Ian Burnside on the collection of Vaughan Williams songs - The Sky Shall be our Roof ,as well as the compilations Classical Voices and Classical Greats and Poetry Serenade by Brian Knowles. She has recently put the finishing touches to her new album for release next year.
