Jubu and his little brother Eric grew up around and inside music.
He began playing bass at the age of 4, but always loved the "light" of the guitar.
His harmonic and melodic ear lead him to follow in his fathers footsteps, and made him a part of the sountrack landscape for artists like Lalah Hathaway, Whitney Houston, Hootie and the Blowfish, Tweet, Alicia Keys, Luther Vandross, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Chaka Khan, and Rahsaan Patterson- just to name a few.
His playing and composing have also left an indelible mark on Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, and Tony Toni Tone', but he still manages to be a leader in the up and coming bands (Stellar Award winning) Soul Seekers, and Legally Blynd.
