Juan Ignacio

Captivating singer and musician, Juan Ignacio emerges onto the music scene with his fresh, young sound. Inspired by his father, also an accomplished musician, Juan Ignacio began singing at the age of six at every family event, impressing family members and friends with his charisma and natural talent.

Juan Ignacio explored his interest for music and at age eleven, when he began taking guitar lessons from a seasoned musician who played in the local church. It was then he realized that his interest for music and talent would become a way of life. After several guitar lessons Juan Ignacio was recognized for his ability to play and sing and later joined the youth church choir offering his talents to God every Sunday.

Juan Ignacio joined Mariachi Cobras de Jalisco at the age of twelve with whom he worked professionally for seven years. They gained recognition as one of the best youth mariachis of Southern California opening for Mariachi Sol De Mexico, Reina De Los Angeles and countless other celebrated artists. They also graced the pages of The Los Angeles Times for their outstanding performances and talent. Juan also collaborated on three of the Mariachi’s albums before the age of fifteen. Later he joined Mariachi Coculence and then Mariachi Alma de Mexico with whom he continues to develop his craft. At age eighteen he began his career as a solo Mariachi artist and released his first CD “Agua de Nadie”. His album, named after an original composition by his father was a hit among the Mariachi community and sold over 1200 records.

With a great support system and a developing wealth of knowledge, Juan Ignacio has refined his vision and talent and has launched his latest production entitled “Mi Sueno”. The flavors of his Spanish Rock/Pop album comprised of all original material combined with his passion and dedication have led Juan to heights he thought unimaginable. Juan Ignacio has become a fan favorite in various Southern California music venues and is steadfastly making his mark in the music industry
